I’ve been the sleep -deprived mom desperate for answers.
Now I help families say goodbye to sleepless nights.

My name is Sarah Freed. I’m originally a pediatric dentist from Brazil, now a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Family Sleep Institute, with a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA, and most importantly, a mom to two little girls, now 4 and 6 years old.

My passion for baby sleep began during my MPH program, when my oldest was just 4 months old. The sleep deprivation was so overwhelming that I could barely study. Hiring a sleep coach changed everything for our family, and that experience ignited a deep curiosity in me. I wanted to understand why sleep was so hard for babies, how it could be improved, and what parents really needed during those exhausting months.

When my second daughter hit toddlerhood, I struggled again. The bedtime battles, the 5 a.m. wake-ups, the regressions.

I lived all of it firsthand. Those challenges shaped the way I support families today. I know how vulnerable, discouraged, and even guilty sleep struggles can make a parent feel, and I never forget that when I’m guiding a family.

I decided to turn this passion into a career and completed one of the leading training programs in the field through the Family Sleep Institute. Today, all my methods are grounded in science, child-development research, empathy, and real-life experience—both the professional and the deeply personal kind.

I take a personalized, family-centered approach, tailoring sleep strategies to each child’s temperament and each parent’s comfort level. Because there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to children.

The best part? Watching exhausted parents reclaim their sleep, confidence, and calm. Seeing a family go from overwhelmed to well-rested is truly the most rewarding part of what I do.

If you’re ready to say goodbye to endless nights and hello to brighter mornings, I’m here to help. Let’s get you the rest you deserve.
